ProCare Therapy has partnered with a school district in La Conner, Washington that is in need of a licensed registered nurse for the remainder of the current school year. This position will be full time, working 1:1 with a 5th grade student.  We are looking for candidates who have an active RN license + active CPR/AED certifications. Additional details about the caseload, duties + responsibilities of the position can be discussed during an interview. This position will also offer the opportuntiy to renew for the full 24-25 school year. The position will offer a competitive hourly pay rate of $38/hour + healthcare benefits.   • Working with special education students and students with intellectual/physical disabilities 
  • Candidate must be prepared to assist with various medical needs, including but not limited to; vent, trach, non ambulatory, diabetes care, allergy care, seizures, NPO, GERD, Partial Trisomy 18, hearing impairment, wheelchairs, G-tube feeding, toileting, lifting, diapering, repositioning, bus riding, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Active RN license required
  • Active CPR/AED certification
  • In schools experience preferred
  • Fingerprinting, drug screen & background check will be required of all candidates
  • Special education experience required
  • Interest in schools and education preferred
